Those of you playing along from the start know I got rained out when trying for both Kinsman peaks. I took a different way up for a solo trek up
History:No history lesson today, see previous post i guess.
Peak Elevation: 4293 ft. (North), 4358 ft. (South), 2470ft (Bald Peak)
Elevation Gain: 3300ish ft
Trail: Mt. Kinsman Tr., Kinsman Ridge Tr.
Length: 10.4 mi
I needed to get the South Kinsman peak done and this way seemed better than redoing the Fishin' Jimmy and was shorter than coming from the south. Started out at the Mt Kinsman Trailhead parking lot, which had a bunch of cars there, and got right to work. Bald peak had some nice views to the West of Kinsman Ridge. Then a quick stab to North Kinsman for my 2nd visit there. I kept going in case weather rolled up on me again, and was elated to get there. a good bit of mileage here but worth it. going down from North peak was a piece of cake, but did have to stop and stretch at one point. the awkward thingw as there was some hiker and her male friend were stopped as she was peeing off trail, and they were waiting for me for some reason to pass. I saw nothing, i promise.

08OCT19 - Imp Face
Keeping on 52WAV progress with Imp Face.
History:I imagine that the name comes from the face of the ledge there looking like an Imp's Face from the north.
Peak Elevation: 3165ft
Elevation Gain: 1800ft ish
Trail:Imp Trail
Length: 6.3mi
This hike was with my friend Ms. Monarch and her doggo, Cabela. We did a 2 car approach so we could do the loop and not have to suffer through hoofing it to the car once off trail, for an added 0.3mi on pavement on a busy road. Starting at the Northern terminus of the Imp Tr. we worked our way up some good grades before getting to the steeper stuff as we approached the lookout form Imp Face. Cabela handled all of this like a champ but he's a strong mixed breed pupper. The lookout was really nice, so we stopped for an early snack/lunch before continuing uphill slightly to head down after meeting up with the trail junction with the North Carter trail. Going down tot he southern terminus was not bad at all, defintely can see why this is the preferred way to do this loop.

Definitely a nice hike, taking the southern terminus could be a fun way to traverse the Carters, as well.

19JUL19 - Mt Kearsarge (Wilmot, NH)
So there are two Kearsarges in NH on the same list, and both have towers. This is the more southern one in Warner NH.
History:
Peak Elevation: 2936 ft
Elevation Gain: 1125 ft
Trail: Winslow Trail, Barlow Trail
Length: 2.7mi
This is in Winslow State park, a nice little loop to get some easy, nice views. There is a parking fee but parking was plenty as I got on trail very early. No real trail notes but the views on the way down were great.

05Jul19 - Potash, Hedgehog Mountains
Two separate mountains on one hiking trip.
History:
Peak Elevation: 2680ft (Potash), 2532ft (Hedgehog)
Trail: Mt Potash Tr., UNH Trail
Length: 9.0mi (4.2mi for Potash, 4.8 for Hedgehog)
Bagged a two-fer here. Forget what order i did these in as this is a backdated entry, but i recall this being a nice day to be out with my buddy Matthew Michael Hotdog. Not his real name. The grading was fairly nice all day, and these combined makes some good training for some NH48 action. The trails seemed to be in great shape and well maintained for the most part.
